Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die maker and factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was in second grade when she was five years old. Stone was said to be academically gifted. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. She graduated in 1975. She also competed and was crowned in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone was able to move in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to pursue a modeling career and signed up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Then, she moved to Europe, spending a year in Milan and Paris. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to keep her acting career going acting as a model while she was in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
