Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American actor-producer and stage actress is well-known for her role in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as appearing in The Mentalist. She received a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor, producer and director who has worked in both film and television. Her career began as an actress in theatre before going on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she won critical acclaim as well as a variety of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award for the Best Actress. She started her career as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. She's appeared on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In terms of her career in movies Her most well-known roles are Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. She is also well-known for her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
